Little Girl Cake Pops

I love making Cake Pops. Children and adults love them equally and there are so many different designs you can do. The centre is a delicious chocolate cake recipe mixed with cream cheese and icing sugar and the outside coating is chocolate. They really are little mouthfuls of joy.

On Monday I made some for a little girl's birthday. Her Mum had seen these Cake Pops on my website...
and wanted similar for her daughter's party. She gave me a photograph of Amber and I worked from that. I baked the cake, rolled the little balls, coated them in chocolate and then I was ready to decorate - all eighteen took me around two and a half hours (that is excluding the cake-making time).

The party is today so I hope everyone enjoys them!

Update: Apparently she loved them

    1. I know, I'm trying to be good at the moment after eating loads of cake over my birthday but I still ended up having three left over balls!

That's not a cake by the way, it's just polystyrene to stand them in...but I quite like the cake idea! ;)
