Melted Snowmen

It's been a rainy Saturday in London. One of those days when you just want to stay indoors, cosy and warm. With Christmas only a few days away and searching for anything to do other than wrap all the presents spralled over the spare bed, I decided to bake.

When my friend sent me a picture of some melted snowman cookies, I thought they were just too adorable not to try.

The biscuits are a basic shortcake recipe - I used the one from here - and they are decorated with royal icing. The snowman heads are marshmallow and I used sugarpaste for the carrot nose.

A very cute Christmas biscuit!
