Sunday In The Sun! ☼

Doesn't the weekend just seem extra special when the sun shines? It's enough to perk up the cloudiest of moods.

Alex and I woke up reasonably early so we could make a 9am gym visit and get out before it got too busy. Don't think working out on a weekend is a regular thing for me; it's only because of my impending holiday! It's so much easier to motivate yourself when you have a bikini to think about.

Talking of holiday, my packing is almost done...

...so post gym session, it was out to the garden to lay around in the hot London sun. It was 25C today! Oof!

I'm eating a lot of Fab's at the moment. This isn't because I particularly like them - in fact I hardly ever even get past the chocolate sprinkle bit at the top. It's because when I did an online shop recently, instead of buying 3 individual Fab's as I'd intended to, I actually bought 3 packs of 8. So I've been left gradually trying to remove all 24 of them from bulking up my freezer, one by one. Useless information, but I thought I'd share it with you anyway.

So with half-hearted lolly and a good book in hand (this one is great for a giggle)

...in the sun I lazed!

Despite the heat, Jimmy Chew decided to join me too. Love that boy.

Such a little poser.

On the Caz lunch menu today was roast chicken (cooked in a delicious sweet marinade) and Greek salad.

I know I'm going to be eating my bodyweight in Greek salads once I'm in Rhodes but I really don't think I could get fed up with them. In case you've never had one, it's normally cucumber, tomato, red onions (which I didn't have today so I used white), Kalamata olives, feta cheese and oregano dressed in some extra virgin olive oil and a little salt. The perfect summer salad.

I don't think it was the salad Jimmy perked up for though!

So on Tuesday I jet off to Rhodes for a few days with lovely Laura. We will be leaving laptops at home but you can be sure of some sunny, cocktail-filled posts when I get back next weekend.

I hope you all have a great week!
