Camden Beach Is Back!

Last year I found out about Camden Beach right at the end of its run. I wrote a post about my day in one of the beach huts and so many people said how they wished they had known about it earlier. So here I am, letting you know that it's back! And this year, it's going to be even better!

You can find the beach on the sunny terrace of the Roundhouse in Camden. It's 900 square metres and 150 tonnes of sand. On a standard day you'll find yourself surrounded by great food, live music, ice cream, cocktails, ping pong, beach balls and a brand new rooftop garden complete with swimming pool! Get a better idea of what it's all about here!

On Friday night it was the official launch party.

In hindsight, high heels may have been a bad choice!

Luckily the flats were on hand to make my night at the beach a little easier

The private huts are awesome. They house up to 8 people and I've already booked one for a blogger's ladies day at the beach in mid-August! You get yourself some comfy seating, your own little fenced off beach area, television, a fridge of beer, a platter of gourmet hot dogs, ice cream, candy floss, rock and waiter service!

You can book one here but they're going fast so I wouldn't hang around!

The launch party was good fun although I did miss having my own hut! Instead, I grabbed a couple of the sun loungers next to the rooftop swimming pool and chilled out up there as the sun set over Camden.

So if you can't get away this summer, Camden are bringing the beach to you! It's a day out in London not to be missed!

The beach opens at 12pm Tuesday to Sunday and at 5pm on Monday. It will run until 23rd August.

  6. I'm so excited for August and our bloggers day! Does the roof top pool mean I need to work on my beach body and bring my bikini?! Terrifying, but can't wait!

  8. Ahh I missed this last year, was so jealous when you had that post go up! This year I've been to some pretty amazing beaches, so not as jealous (though still a little bit!)

  10. Wow this looks so good, love that you can book your own private hut. As I started to read this I was about to say it's a bit like our Quayside Seaside in Newcastle ... but actually the Camden Beach is much much fancier :)

  13. Your flats are super cute! Always a good idea to bring them where sand is involved (this is why weddings on the beach aren't always a good idea!) Love Camden Beach - wish I'd got in there quick enough to reserve a hut like you.
