I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and have enjoyed recovering this Boxing Day with the yummy leftovers. I had a wonderful day yesterday. Following a couple of somewhat disappointing Christmas lunches at a local pub, I decided to take the reigns and cook myself this year. I made goat's cheese & balsamic red onion tarts with homemade cranberry sauce to start followed by the full works - roast turkey, honey-glazed gammon and all the trimmings. Then there was dessert which was a choice of Christmas pudding (courtesy of Harrods this year!), chocolate brownies or cheesecake. It was inevitably very busy but it all went to plan and I had one very happy family by the end of it!
