I was born in Epping and brought up in Basildon in Essex. I own a pair of white high heels but no fluffy dice! I moved to London in 2002 and have lived in various parts but I am, without much doubt, a North London girl!
Following a 12-year suited and booted career in the City as an Insurance Broker, I decided to leave in 2010 to study at Leith’s School of Food & Wine. Then in early 2012 I set up my own little baking company. I bake cakes, cupcakes, brownies, quiches and loads of other tasty things for special events and I often hold my own cake stall in the north London area.
I’ve always loved getting dressed up and going out. Even at my grand old age of 32, I still get excited about visiting new places to eat and drink in London. I wanted a platform in which to share my experiences – good and bad – without forcing it down people’s throats on things like Facebook and my blog has been a perfect place to do so! It’s also a lovely way of documenting my travels (I do love a good holiday!), recipes and thoughts all in one place.
I love shopping, eating, champagne, Elvis Presley, Marlon Brando, dogs, Sex And The City, Vegas, scones, karaoke, Ben Affleck, the ocean and watching reality television.
