MY FAVOURITES

THE BEST COCKTAILS IN TOWN

Mr. Fogg’s
This quirky ground floor bar supposedly belongs to the hero of Around The World In Eighty Days. The waiters are trained to act in character and each of the lovingly-crafted cocktails has a story you can read within the menu.

My Experience at Mr Fogg’s

El Nivel
An authentic and laid back little Mexican bar and restaurant that does – amongst others – amazing tequila cocktails. Very friendly service and regular tequila tasting events. The Lost Steps cocktail is a must if you visit.

Cartizze
Definitely my favourite new bar! Located opposite Mews of Mayfair on the pebbled Lancashire Court, this chic and classy retreat is all you could want from a cocktail bar – amazing drinks and outstanding service in an absolutely beautiful venue. The scallop sliders and truffle peanuts are worth the trip alone!

B.Y.O.C.
‘Bring Your Own Cocktail’ is a dimly lit den hidden away down a winding staircase behind a juice bar. You come armed with your own spirits, pay £20 entrance fee and the mixologists do the rest…brilliantly.

York & Albany
A regular haunt of mine. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere of this Gordon Ramsay bar and restaurant keeps me going back again and again. The cocktails are expertly made with love and care plus the food is wonderful (especially the cheese board!).

Mews of Mayfair
Take a seat outside and watch the world go by. Mews of Mayfair is hidden away from the noisy West End streets, situated on a sweet little cobbled lane. The clientèle are glam and the cocktails delicious.

Bart’s
Bart’s is a little speakeasy hideaway which can be found, as the website states, “somewhere on Sloane Avenue”. Once located, take a pew and enjoy their huge variety of inventive cocktails (including one made with blue cheese!)

Rumpus Room
This breath-taking lounge on the rooftop of the glamorous Mondrian Hotel  has panoramic views over London. With big red sofas and chandeliers that resemble exploded fireworks, it’s certainly an impressive place to sip on their delicious cocktails

VOC Punch House
Billed as London’s first 17th century inspired bar, VOC specialises in barrel-aged drinks and bespoke designed cocktails which are aged in wax sealed bottles. Small bar with lots of character and wonderful drinks.

Artisian
You can find this award-winning bar inside the Langham Hotel. It’s elegant with a high-class and helpful service. The beautiful cocktails are some of the most elaborate I have ever seen. Definitely a cocktail experience worth having!
